HSREP (hsraep.org) is an independent advocacy publishing platform. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. These tell us aggregate things (which pages are read, how far people scroll, which links are clicked) so we can understand how the arguments travel. We do not use them to identify you personally.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide (through Buttondown) to send occasional updates. Nothing else.
- Roundtable & engagement. If you choose to respond to an article or join a Roundtable, we collect the name, professional affiliation, email, and the response you submit, only what you enter, and only when you choose to participate.
- Scheduling. If you book a call through Calendly, that information is handled by Calendly under its own policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to the site.
Third parties
We rely on a few reputable services, each with its own privacy policy: Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Buttondown (newsletter), Calendly (scheduling), and GitHub Pages (hosting). We share your data with them only as needed to run those functions.
How we use it
To understand engagement as advocacy intelligence, to send the newsletter you opted into, to operate the Roundtable, and to respond to inquiries. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion, email shafaatalichoyon@gmail.com and we will act on it.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above always reflects the current version.
