§ 01 · The mark

The Humanist Crest.

HSREP Humanist Crest
The Humanist Crest · HSREP
What it carries

An open arch and a rising foundation close into a near-circular whole, health protection drawn as infrastructure. Three figures of different heights and tones stand at the centre, people in different circumstances, all of whom the system must hold. Above them, a single coral point of life.

Using the marks

Clear space. Keep at least one coral-dot width of space on every side of the mark.

Minimum size. The crest icon is for 64 px and up. Don’t shrink it to a 16-32 px mark, use the wordmark instead.

Keep it as-is. Don’t recolour, tint, or add shadow, glow or gradient; don’t close the arch, equalise the figures, or move the coral point; no medical clichés (cross, ECG, heart).

Writing the name. Write HSREP in capitals. Spell out Health System Resilience & Economic Protection (HSREP) on first mention. Never use it as a verb.

§ 02 · The palette & why

Color with a reason.

Navy is the institution; coral is the human. Every hue earns its place.
#1C2E4A
Institutional navy
The system and its authority, calm, load-bearing, trustworthy. Dominant across headlines and dark bands.
Why it earns its placeHealth-system resilience is an institutional argument, so the brand leads with a deep, stable navy that signals credibility and permanence, and holds back all emotion for a single warm accent to carry.
#F26D5A
Human coral
The single accent, the point of life, warmth and urgency-with-care. Reserved to mark every action.
Why it earns its placeOne warm human note against the institutional navy keeps people, not systems, at the centre. Because it appears only on what matters, every use of it directs the eye to a choice or an action.
#267A69
Vital green
Health and vitality. Tertiary only, used sparingly in data.
Why it earns its placeA restrained, clinical green reads as health without turning the brand ‘medical.’ Kept to occasional positive data points, it signals vitality precisely where the numbers earn it.
#65717E
Evidence neutral
Restraint and readability, so the reader trusts the page.
Why it earns its placeEvidence-led work needs quiet. A calm grey carries body text and attribution so the argument, not the design, does the persuading.
